The Lockhart Pee Wee local league Mitchell Meteors suffered their first loss of the season Sunday night against a tough New Hamburg team.  After a scoreless opening period the Huskies opened the scoring a little over a minute into the second.  The Meteors responded  scoring a minute later to tie it up. The goal was scored by Spencer Boyce assisted by Will Steinbach and Josh Bedour.  That was all the home team would get.  New Hamburg scored 3 more unanswered goals over the next 2 periods despite strong goaltending by Austin Weir.  The Meteors played a good game and just couldn’t capitalize on a number of excellent scoring chances.
