The Dodge Caravan Novice LL fresh from beating the host team, Parkhill, would go on to face Blyth/Brussels Crusaders in the gold medal game. The Mitchell Meteors would go on to beat the Crusaders 2-1 and claim the gold medal for the North Middlesex March break tournament. In another hard fought game, the exhausted Meteors never gave up.
Aedan McCann fresh from the resent shut out would once again hold the net and play another strong game. Being short a defenseman, Bryce Otten graciously stepped up into the defense line up and played an amazing game. In the first period, Rogan Catalan would open the scoring with another tremendous wrist shot giving the Meteors a 1-0 lead. In the second period, Matthew Menheere would also find the back of the net with a great wrist shot of his own giving the Meteors a 2-0 lead. Shortly after, the Crusaders would add a goal to end the second period 2-1. There would be no scores to report in the third period as Mitchell went on to secure the gold medal.
