Game 7 vrs Kincardine Kinucks
The Scotia Bank U15 Rep Meteors welcomed the Kincardine Kinucks to Mitchell on Tuesday night. The Kinucks were coming into this game on a loss against Walkerton hungry for a win.
Aiden McCann would get the call in net and play a solid game from start to finish. The Kincardine Kinucks would open the scoring in the first period to take a 1 to 0 lead. Later that period Matthew Menheere would tie the game up with a hard shot from the point. With solid action and battling all over the ice the Meteors would take the lead with 57 seconds left in the second period when Zach Siemen-Hergott would tee up a perfect pass to Griffin Bree to one time in the game winning goal.
With that the Meteor's get their second win and improve their season record to 3 and 4.
Mitchell will travel to Hanover Thursday night for an 8:45 game against the Falcons who are right with them at 2 and 5 on the season.
