Game 6 vrs Huron Bruce Blizzard
The Scotia Bank U15 Rep Meteors traveled to Ripley Monday night to meet up with the Blizzard in their arena. The Blizzard had just lost 3 to 2 to Hanover Falcon's in their last league game play.
The Blizzard would come out strong in the first period adding goals at 7:32, 4:14 and 1:21 for a 3 to 0 lead. However, with 29 seconds left Charlie Wolfe would get the Meteors on the board.
Entering the second period 3 to 1, the Blizzard would add another goal at 6:21 for a 4 to 1 lead. At the 6:05 mark Landon VanBakel would cut the lead to 4 to 2 only to see the Blizzard add another goal with 1:00 left.
Going into the third period the Meteors looked down and out at 5 to 2, But Logan Verburne would get the Meteors started at 13:47 followed by Griffin Bree at 10:42 and Ryan Klumper at 7:00. Now tied at 5 to 5 Jonah Gibbings would secure the game winning goal at 4:34 to secure the comeback win.
The Meteors Take on the Kincardine Kinucks tonight in Mitchell at 7:50pm.
