Game 5 vrs Saugeen Shore Storm
Saturday, November the 12th 2022 the U15 Rep Mitchell Meteors traveled through the first snow fall of the season to take on the Saugeen Shore Storm in Port Elgin. Port Elgin entered the game unbeaten in league play for their first three games.
The Meteors and Storm would have a spirited match with many penalties taken by both teams. Carter Miller would shine in net making many spectacular saves, however, it just wasn't enough as the Meteors would fall in this one 7 to 2. Matthew Menheere would let a rocket go from the point hitting top shelve in the first period. Bryce Dixon would stay with a loose puck at the side of the net to get Mitchells second goal with 1:17 left in the third.
Mitchell next game action is in Ripley Monday November 17th at 7:00pm as the take on the Huron-Bruce Blizzards.
