Game #5 had the Mark Bannon Backhoe Mitchell Meteors U13 LL team paired against the Durham Crusaders in the tournament final.  Both teams showed that they wanted to win this game with a lot of scoring opportunities, but the game remained scoreless after 2 periods.  With 1:03 left in the third period and the fans on the edge of their seats, Brayden Baxter passed the puck up to Dylan Dietrich who dangled around a couple of Durham players and tucked it behind the goaltender.  The championship game ended with a 1-0 win for Mark Bannon Backhoe Mitchell Meteors U13 LL.

Credit needs to be given to the goaltending duo of Landon Glauser and Taitum Vessie who had an unbelievable 4 goals (combined) scored against them in 5 games.

The coaching staff were a huge part of this victory as well.  They have worked hard to get this team to where they are and their efforts showed in this tournament with the amazing team work that was displayed both on and off the ice.
