2 Wins for Mitchell Meteors U13 LL
The Mitchell Meteors U13 LL team, sponsored by Mark Bannon Backhoe, travelled to Central Perth and Blyth for 2 games this past week.

After a scoreless first period against Central Perth, Greg McKay put the Meteors on the board with assists from Weston Bannon and Michael Coyne.  Minutes later, Henry Schoonderwoerd, assisted by Liam Baker and Brayden Baxter doubled up the score to make it 2-0.  The Meteors didn't disappoint fans as they scored 2 more goals in the last minute of play of the second period - the first one scored by Reegan Vessie with assists going to McKay and Jones McLaughlin, the second one netted by Dylan Dietrich and assisted by Trayton Keyser.

Dietrich opened up the scoring in the third period with assists from McKay and McLaughlin.  McKay slipped another one past the Central Perth goalie with assists from R. Vessie and Deni Beaudin.  The final goal of the game was scored by Beaudin with an assist going to Keith Linton.  Taitum Vessie earned a shutout between the posts and the Meteors won 7-0.

The second game of the week was against the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders.  The home team scored first, but Reegan Vessie answered back when he took the puck from one end of the ice to the other with some fancy stick handling.  Deni Beaudin's goal, assisted by Carson Vosper, gave the Meteors a 2-1 lead. R. Vessie netted his second of the game with assists to Greg McKay and Michael Coyne.  R. Vessie and McKay joined forces for another goal, earning Vessie a hattrick.  Dylan Dietrich increased the Meteors lead with an unassisted goal.  R. Vessie wowed fans with another goal, his fourth of the game.  With passes from McKay and Dietrich, Jones McLaughlin snuck one past the opposition goalie.  Landon Glauser and Taitum Vessie in net were a big part of the 7-2 victory in favour of the Mark Bannon Backhoe Mitchell Meteors.
