U11s take it to OT
The McDonald's Valumart U11s played their first playoff game last night on home ice.
Kincardine scored early in the first to grab the lead. It was a tight Meteors vs Kanucks match for rest of the first and second periods with no goals added. In the 3rd period, the combo of Jackson Schoonderwoerd and Aiden Crawford landed one in the net to tie it up. The score remained locked 1-1 for the rest of the game. In OT, Kincardine found the net first for a disappointing loss for Mitchell but also lots of reasons to be proud. They're just getting started - lots of hockey left!
