U15 Girls Shut Out Huron Heat With Short Bench
The Mitchell Lockhart Funeral Home Meteor U15 Girls hosted Huron Heat on Oct 13th. Despite a short bench due to two absentees and one injury, the team put forth a strong effort to shut out their visitors 4-0.
The scoring was spread around the lineup, as Grace Laverty (1G 1A), Kora Smith (1G 1A), Alexis Gettler (2A), and Haileigh Templeman (2A) would all record two points each. Brooklyn Boville and Josie Walker also scored for the Meteors. Alissa Insley earned the shutout in net.
