Goaltender Porter Smith backstopped the Scotiabank U15 Meteors Reps to a 2-0 shutout win in Wingham on November 16th, as the team improved to 8-7-1 on the season.
Despite heavily outshooting their host, the Meteors were in a scoreless tie after two periods of hockey until defenseman Ryan Glauser found the back of the net with a powerplay goal assisted by Charlie Geiger as a Wingham penalty was just about to expire. Hayden Nicholson would add an unassisted insurance goal in the final minutes of play to secure the win.
