Meteor Peewee Reps Slip By Titans
The Hoegy's Farm Supply Meteor Peewee Reps finished the WOAA preseason with a record of 2-1-2 on October 2nd with a narrow 3-2 road win over the Tavistock Titans.

Bryce Dixon opened the scoring near the end of the first period, combining with Charlie Geiger and Jack Miller to jam in a loose puck in the crease.  Tavistock would tie the game midway through the second period, but Geiger would regain the lead in the dying seconds of the period, connecting on a pass from Miller.
Kellen Russwurm scored late in the third from Brayden Hoegy, but the Titans weren't finished yet, scoring a power play marker with 43 seconds left to come within one goal.  But goaltender Joel Meinen had been solid all game and shut the door to preserve the win.
The Meteors open the regular season this Saturday at 2:30pm on the road in Clinton, facing the BCH Ice Dogs.
