On Saturday evening the Terry’s Auto Service Mitchell Midget AE’s played their third game in Regional Silverstick tournament at the Stephen Township Arena against the Petrolia Oilers.
I'll make this one short, as there was not a lot of good to be said about this game…
The Oilers jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the first 2 minutes. Jake Monden started the come back for Mitchell with help from Jackson MacArthur and Joe Hill in the second, but that would be it for the game sheet with Mitchell losing 3-1.
However, through some miracle of plus /minus and tournament rules, Mitchell would still advance to the semi finals on Sunday morning against the undefeated Dorchester Dragons.
