Still have a chance
After 4 playoff games the Your Neighborhood Credit Union Midget boys LL team still have a chance of moving on but must win the remaining 2 games against Mount Forest 2 team other wise know as the favorite with no losses all seasons.

After a great regular season with a 17-3 record with 2 losses against Mount Forest 2 and the snow causing issues with games, the playoffs ended up being 3 home and away series. Starting off against a Goderich team that had improved all season the first game at home ended up a 5-5 tie. With a penalty filled game the boys were lead by Christian Simpson with 2 goals and assist in a sea saw battle with Goderich tying it early in the third. A couple of cross bars and missing a player due to the penalties no one could find the net for the win. Back in Goderich a tight 4-3 ot win in a tight form behind win. Down 3-1 in the third Eric Dearing scored his second with 3:41 left to get within one. With 34 seconds left in the period on the power play Eric scored his third to tie it up. With 6:27 left in OT Cole Wilton finished off the comeback. Up next was Mount Forest 1 in their home barn. Missing 3 of the team top scores the battle a tight checking game that was back and forth with Christian scoring the game winner with 3:42 left in the second. After a lot of icings and tight defense no scoring occurred in the third. Sunday night back home in another tight game the boys pulled out a 3-1 victory scoring the game winner by Josh Duncan with 1:40 left to go with 2 assists. Jaden Faulkner opened the scoring in the middle of the second and Christian added the empty netter.
Not much time off as the boys get the big test the next night Monday at home vs Mount Forest 2 who have still kept their undefeated WOAA season going.
