Coming off a commanding victory on Saturday. The Peewee LL’s
were in tough against Goderich on Sunday
Mitchell came out of the gates flying with Ryan Hubbard opening the scoring for the locals by banging in his own rebound to make it 1-0. The pace was fast paced with both teams having chances at both ends. Goderich would tie up the game at 1-1 before the end of the frame.
In the second, Hubbard would pot his second of the game while short handed to put the locals up 2-1. The second would be a penalty filled affair. Goderich would take advantage of the man-advantage by tying up the contest at 2-2 and it would stay that way for the rest of the period.
The third period would see the same great action with Ethan Dearing keeping his team in the game by making great save after great save. In the end, it would be the Goderich team coming out on top with under 5 seconds left in the game to take the game 3-2.
The peewee’s are back in action on Tuesday against Central Perth in Monkton.
