Yost Leads Meteors In Win Over Titans
The New Orleans Pizza PeeWee AE Meteors played the Tavistock Titans in exhibition play in Monkton on Monday night. Grayson Yost would lead his team to a 4-2 win scoring a hat-trick for the home team. After a scoreless first period, Yost put his team on the board early in the second period with a top-shelf shot with the assist going to Charlie Geiger.
The Titans would answer with two goals of their own before the end of the second, but the Meteors would come back in the third scoring three to take the win. Brock Boville would score the next goal on a falling goalie tie the game at two. Yost and Preston Porter would assist on the goal. Yost would give the Meteors the go ahead goal and an insurance goal with two hard shots to beat the Titans goalie. Jack Miller, Hayden Nicholson, Porter and Boville would all gain assists in the goals.
The Meteors will play BCH in League play on Friday.
