Mills, Vosper Lead Peewee Reps To Road Win Over Kincardine
Kyle Mills with 6 points (3G 3A) and Jared Vosper with 5 points (1G 4A) helped pace the Hoegy's Farm Supply Meteor Peewee Reps to a 10-2 road win over the Kincardine Kinucks in WOAA action December 22nd leading into the Christmas break.
Kincardine scored the opening goal three minutes into the game, but the Meteors stormed back with four unanswered goals in the period as Mills would score his first two and Vosper and Vincent Voros would add singles. The offensive barrage continued early in the second, with the Meteors scoring three shorthanded goals on the same penalty kill, including a pair by Brandon Dietrich and one by Mills. Voros would add his second of the game, and additional goals were also scored by Caleb Templeman and Atom Rep call-up Ethan Jarmuth. Also drawing assists were Dietrich and Kellen Russwurm.
Next up for the Meteors is a return trip to the Tiverton arena on December 27th to compete in the Regional Silver Stick hosted by Kincardine, opening the tournament vs Listowel at 12:20pm followed by the host Kinucks at 5:10pm.
