Atom Girls Earn Long Distance Road Win
The Paul Van Gerwen Sun Life Meteor Atom Girls made the 6-hour round trip to Windsor on December 15th, returning home with a strong 6-1 victory over the Wildcats.

The Meteors opened the scoring early, as Ava Harmer redirected a Tegan Mace pass into the far corner.  Abigayle Van Bakel would score from Zoey Michel late in the second period to take a 2-0 lead.  Entering the final period up 2-1, the girls would turn on their offense, scoring four more times to put the game out of reach.  Harmer would add a pair to complete the hat trick, and single goals were scored by Alayna McKay and Rylee Kipfer.  Recording additional assists were Harmer and Emma Groenestege.  Macie Russwurm earned the win between the pipes, with considerable help from the strong blue line of Kipfer, Michel, Grace Bach, Camryn Medhurst, and Addy Wolfe that would help limit the scoring chances.
