Atom Girls Drop Pair Of Close Games
The Paul Van Gerwen Sun Life Meteor Atom Girls were on the receiving end of a pair of 2-1 home losses this week, losing to Stratford Aces on October 11th and edged by visiting West Oxford on October 13th.
Abigayle Van Bakel was the lone scorer in both games, with Rylee Kipfer drawing the only assist in the Stratford game. Ava Harmer and Leah Kelly assisted in the West Oxford game.
The girls will practice Monday night this upcoming week to prepare for the Mitchell Girls Tournament, opening their weekend on Thursday October 18th at 7:00pm vs Huron Heat and looking to avenge a 3-0 loss to them earlier in the season.
