VanBakel Earns Shutout in Victory Over West Oxford Inferno
Dodge Caravan Kids Novice C Girls had an excellent game over West Oxford, claiming a 2-0 victory.
The first period saw many back and forth chances from both teams, The Meteors first goal would come in the first period with a lifted shot by Ellie MacArthur over the Inferno goaltender. The two teams kept up the back and forth effort in the second period, with no goals being scored. MacArthur would add her second of the game in the third frame when she stole the puck from the West Oxford defence and charged in to net the final goal of the game. The defensive squad of Danika Voros, Elyn Hannon, Kinslee Horan and Avery Smith played very well assisting Ally VanBakel on her shutout victory.
