Second Exhibition Win For Novice Girls C
The Novice C Girls hosted The South Huron Sabres for their second exhibition game of the season. The Meteors would come out ahead 9-0
The Meteors came out strong and took charge in the first period. About three minutes in, their efforts were rewarded with their first goal by Ellie MacArthur. MacArthur would gather two more goals in the first as well as goals from Elyn Hannon and Alise Crawford.
The second period brought a penalty to the home squad, so out came the Meteors penalty kill. One minute into the penalty, Crawford would grab a short handed goal, assisted by Charlee Weesjes. One more goal to finish off the second came from MacArthur.
The girls kept the pressure on the visitors and put two more goals on the board from MacArthur and Avery Smith to finish off the game. Selina Gethke would record the shutout for the Novice girls.
