Novice Reps Split Two Exhibition Games
Mitchell won by a large margin against Central Perth and lost a close one against Stratford.
The morning matchup had mitchell scoring three in the first, three in the second and four in the third for an 11-0 victory over Central Perth. There were seven different scorers in the balanced attack.
The afternoon contest had Stratford edging the locals 5-3. The game went back and forth until the Warriors netted the winner late in the third and added an empty net goal. Stratford's goaltending came up with many big saves. Carson Lubbers scored all three for Mitchell with Ray Wolfe getting the lone assist.
