Game 2 OMHA vs Listowel
On Tuesday,y January 17, 2017 the Mitchell Scotia Bank Bantam AE played their rival OMHA competitors , the Listowel Cyclones AE in their second game of the series.
It was a fast paced game with Mitchell striking first with Josh Edit taking a pass from Darren Feltz and sending the puck past the Listowel’s net minder. Up next for Mitchell was Joey Hill, with assists going to Carter Yost and Soloman Koert. Listowel was able to put some points up and tied the score at two a piece at the end of the first. Mitchell went into the lead in the second when Sam Snyders sneaked the puck passed Listowel with assists going to Feltz and Karsen Eisler. All thinking that may be it, the Listowel came back and tied it late in the third, forcing OT. At 8:38 of OT, the game was decided by Listowel and the series was tied at one apiece.
