Bantam Reps back in the groove!!
The Bantam Rep boys team have had a tough November swing, playing all out of town games.
The road trip took its toll on the team, coming home with 1 win 1 tie and 2 loses. It seems that all it took was coming home to give the team the boost they needed. On Friday they finally returned home to play Minto. Both teams started out with some chances but the game didn't see any scoring till near the end of the second period. Going into the third the score was 1-1. Mitchell goalie Ryan Bell posed a solid obstacle, the Bulldogs could not figure out. As both teams traded shots and opportunities, Mitchell started to pick up the tempo, flustering the opposition. Once the Meteors broke the ice the goals started to pour in. Declan Catalan managed to score 3 goals when he wasn't in the penalty box. There was a small time delay to clean the ice from all the hats thrown. When the smoke cleared and the buzzer sounded Mitchell put away 5 unanswered goals winning 6-1. Other goal scorers included Connor Weir, Kyle Richardson and Evan Morrison. We would also like to give a shout out to the two PeeWee call ups, Connor Maclean and Brayden Vosper played their hearts out and earned a spot on the ice, Great job lads.
