the New Orleans Pizza Pee Wee AE Mitchell Meteors travelled to Listowel to play
the Cyclones. The Meteors lost 3-1.
Mitchell started strong and had a number of great chances in the first period, ringing a couple off of posts, but just could not put it behind the Listowel goaltender. The Cyclones came on in the second period and the teams traded chances. It took until the last minute of the period before Listowel finally opened the scoring. The game continued back and forth in the third, the Cyclones potted a couple of goals with 3 minutes and 1 minute left in the game. The Meteors continued to fight and Caleb Kay was rewarded with his first goal of the season with 18 seconds left for the visitors.
The New Orleans Pizza Pee Wee AE Mitchell Meteors travelled to Kincardine to battle the Kinuks Sunday. Mitchell came out on top of a hard fought match with a 1-0 victory. Halfway through the 2nd period PJ Marshall fired a pass up to Joe Adams and sent him away on a breakaway. Joe made no mistake and put the puck in the back of the net for the only goal Mitchell would need. Brennan Vanderkuylen and Kody Eisler shared the shut out. Andrew Van Bakel and Kaden Meinen also played well for the visitors.
