Mitchell Scotiabank Bantam AE's move on to OMHA finals!

Mitchell Scotiabank Bantam AE's sweep the semi-final series against the Douro Duke's on Saturday February 27th on home ice winning 6-1.

Douro came to town trying to move into the win column in the OMHA series against Mitchell.  Mitchell Bantam AE's, with a 4 point series lead, would deny them this chance with a solid 6-1 win.

The boys kept up a barrage of shots which lead to Mitchell netting 6 goals.  Ryan Bell, solid in net, turned away all but one of Douro's  attempts on our goal.  Our forwards played a solid game winning face-offs, jumping on the puck and looking for the play.  Mitchell defense played well quickly sending the puck out of the home end.

Scoring for Mitchell Tristan Beehler picks up a hat-trick and two assists.  Curt Eidt sends in two goals and has two assists. Damon Kay gets a goal and two assists.  Caleb Tweddle gets two assists and Kurtis Forrest and Brenden Boville each take an assist.

That makes 12 wins in a row boys.  Keep up the good work!
