Mitchell Scotiabank Bantam AE's traveled to Listowel on Monday February 22nd to meet the Listowel Cyclones winning 3-0. This brings the boys to a 10 game winning streak.
It was a slow start to the game as no points were on the board until late in the first period. Kurtis Forrest assisted by Brendon Boville and Trevor DeJong slid Mitchell's first goal in, giving Mitchell a 1-0 lead first period.
Again the second period not much action as both teams moved the puck around. Jared McCarthy sends one home with just 52 seconds left on the clock, ending the second period with Mitchell ahead 2-0. Tristan Beehler and Kyle Richardson assisting.
Mitchell dominated the third period as the Cyclones seemed to have difficulty building momentum. Curtis Eidt, assisted by Damon Kay, sent in the last goal of the game giving Mitchell a 3-0 win.
