Bantam Boys Rep Tie Series....
The Scotia Bank Bantam Rep team held their own Monday night against the team from BCH.  During the pre-game show the coaches and players were so composed and confident, Coach Schoonderwoerd said " For a team that's down a game they definitely got their swagger back".  The first period started out with a flurry of chances in the BCH end, even though the BCH tender stood on his head, yet again, there was a calmness about the Mitchell team.  They went about it like it was just a matter of time.

The Meteors opened the scoring with a bullet from McCorkindale, that found the top corner.   Mitchell controlled the first and second period taking a 3-1 lead into the third period.  BCH fought and battled hard for the whole game, but the composure Mitchell showed had them unable to respond to the constant pressure.  After a Mitchell disallowed goal, and a broken play in the defensive end, BCH brought the score to within one.  Relying on the previous game experience,  the boys did not panic, they just added to the score.  The final score was 5-2 for the Meteors.  This series is far from over and Meteors are back at it Tuesday night for game 3.  In the post game interview Coach Schoonderwoerd was pleased with the result but also stated "this is just another brick in our foundation, and to get to our main goal, its gonna take a lot of bricks,  so we will add this to the pile and start planning for the game."  The next game is in Clinton on Tuesday night at 6:30pm.  Thanks to all the fans for showing their support.
