Atom LL fall to Zurich
The Atom LL MCR Advanced Collision team were defeated by the Zurich Thunder Saturday afternoon but not without giving the other team a good fight.
The first period was quiet for Mitchell and they only allowed one goal for Zurich. Brennen Vanderkuylen was able to make a some amazing saves, keeping the Thunder from scoring in the second period. Basil Voros and Keegan Hunt had a great chance to score but it was stopped by Zurich's goalie. Voros scored the Meteors's only goal of the game, unassisted, half way in the third period to tie the game. The third period saw many great shots from both teams, unfortunately, Zurich scored 3 more goals to make the final score 4-1.
