Regular Season play continues
The Novice 1 Girls traveled to Lucan to face off against the "Lucky" Lucan Irish this weekend, as regular season play continues.
It seemed a struggle throughout the game for the Novice girls to keep up the the Lucan team. Shawnie held her own in net, fending off a few shots to keep us in the game.
The Lucan Irish was extremely strong defensively, blocking most of our chances, and foiling the breakaways by Sadie, Alia, Ally and Claire. A couple of unlucky shots hitting the cross-bar, sealed our deal with a score of zero.
Lucan scored once int he first period, then finished us off with three more goals in the third.
Back to practice tomorrow girls...get ready to skate those Christmas break lazies away!
