Novice AE's Continue Playoff Run Against Zurich
The Dodge Caravan Kids Novice AE's kept their undefeated playoff string alive with a tight victory over the visiting Zurich Thunder Sunday night in Mitchell. Jordan Visneskie continued his inspired play scoring all four goals for the Meteors in their 4-2 victory. The win Sunday gives the Meteors the lead in their semi-final round robin series with a 2-0 record.

Mitchell would open the scoring two minutes into the game with Visneskie notching a goal with a hard wrist past the blocker of the Thunder goalie. The remainder of the first period would see the two teams trade goals to leave the score 2-1 after one.

The second period would see lots of end-to-end action but no goals as the two teams headed to the final frame locked in a one goal contest.

Zurich would tie the game three minutes into the third. However, the home side were not deterred as Visneskie would get the lead back with four minutes left and then finish the scoring off with a shot just under the cross bar from the face off circle.

Dominic Marshall would set up two for the Meteors with Jack Miller, Lucas Roobroeck, and Jake Crowley adding one assist each.

The team will now travel to Zurich and host Drayton to complete the semi-final round robin play.
