PeeWee LL's Win Western Ontario Championship
The Lockhart Funeral Home PeeWee LL team faced the AEMHA Ice Dogs Red on home ice Sunday night for game 2 in the PeeWee LL Western Championships.  The Ice Dogs were hungry for the win and dug hard to keep the puck in Mitchell's end giving them a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period. The Meteors found their groove by the second period and played a strong offensive and defensive game winning the Western Ontario Championships with a score of  7-3.

Damen Kay rushed the net putting in Mitchell's first goal of the night. Caleb Tweddle assisted by Hayden Adair tied up the game in the second period with a nice goal to the back of the net.  After another goal by the Ice Dogs Eric Dearing assisted by Tyler Roobroeck tied the end to end play up with Mitchell's third goal of the game. Cole Wilton sent in a backhanded goal ending the second period with Mitchell ahead 4-3.  The only goals to touch the score board in the third period would be Mitchell's.  Cole Wilton was on fire in the third period putting in his second goal of the game and assisting Damon Kay's second goal of the game. Jake Walker and Jared Ramsyer assisting Wilton. Kole Hunt assisted by Eric Dearing sealed the deal sending home Mitchell's final goal of the game. 
Great defensive plays stone walled the Ice Dogs attempts to bring the puck into Mitchell's end zone. Stevie Daum had some quick gloves and played solid in net.
Meteors win the Western Ontario Championship with a 7-1 win.
