CLAIM B TITLE
The McLaughlin Chrysler Jeep Novices had an outstanding Saturday at the Grant Lee Memorial Novice Touranment in Hensal hosted by BCH Minor Hockey , reeling off three straight wins after an opening game loss on Friday night to claim the B Championship.

Things started off against a strong Blenheim club, as the locals hung in there but trailed 3-0 heading into the third period, as Cody Eisler stood tall in goal, as Dawson Dietz, scored 35 seconds into the third, but 34 seconds later Blenheim scored to go ahead 4-1, over three minutes later Dietz scored again from Zachary Houben but two goals late in the third me the count 6-2.
Off to Saturday where the boys needed to win there final two round robin games to advance, and Mitchell came out strong against South Huron , who previously beat the boys in exhibition. Good start came as Dietz scored 3:15 into the game to take the lead , and the only goal that was needed as Eisler stood tall for the shut out , behind strong defensive play of K Murray, Hannon, Terpstra, Feltz, and L Murray in the 1-0 win.
Off to play BCH with winner advancing to B Final . Again an early goal 3:03 in by Talbot Geiger , from Dietz, and Cole Hannon, then 4:56 into the second period , Geiger scored again to put them up 2-0. Then 9 seconds later off the facoeoff Geiger set up Dietz for a 3-0 lead. BCH finally got two past Eisler in final three minutes to make the final 3-2 Mitchell and off to the B Final vs Mt.Forest Rams.
In the B Final , the scoring came to life as the boys built a 4-0 lead after one period , Dietz scored 1:02 into the game from Hannon, at 4:11 Geiger from K.Murray, right after that Morrison scored unassisted, and Vosper under a minute later from Morrison and Daniel Reidy, then in the second period the teams traded a pair of goals as Morrison and Vosper his third of the game closed out the scoring and a scoreless third period . Congratulations on a good start to the year .
