The Mitchell Meteors faced rivals Stratford Aces on Thursday night in Stratford. Mitchell came out strong in the first, getting on the score board first. Bre netted a beauty unassisted. Julia held the Aces scoreless into the second period when they scored to tie the game. The 3rd period saw the Meteors tiring, but they never gave up and dug deep to stave off the strong offence of Stratford. Julia remained strong in net, stopping many shots to earn the tie. Next action is Saturday in Tiverton when Mitchell faces Kincardine.
