Coming off a shutout loss against Lucan on Saturday, the Meteors faced the Waterloo Wovles in Monkton on Sunday night. Scoring started early with a goal from Rachael assisted by Bird and Robyn. Bird scored the second goal of the period . Assisting were Rachael and Elisha. In the second, Robyn scored with a bullet from the point with help from Jordyn and Victoria. In the 3rd Elisha netted the puck from Bird and Rachael. The Meteors played very strong defensively. They shutout the Wolves for 90 seconds with 2 players in the box. Ducky and Lyric had many strong defensive plays. Olivia, Sarah and Mikala were strong offensively. Julia held the Wolves scoreless until 38 seconds were left in the game.
